Development and industrial design

Hubl Blechtechnik is often involved by its customers in the development phase of complex and sophisticated industrial products. Well-founded know-how in sheet metal processing guarantees a production-technical and cost-optimised implementation of the requirements for stainless steel housings and claddings.

If required, the company works closely with a renowned industrial designer who has already won numerous awards.

The advantages of close cooperation between the customer, Hubl Blechtechnik and the industrial designer are obvious:

  • Advice and support from product development to production
  • Implementation of well thought-out solutions in terms of production technology
  • Cost-optimised elaboration by Hubl as a system supplier
  • Visually appealing extraordinary design
  • Support from a renowned industrial designer

With Werner Scholpp, Hubl Blechtechnik has won over a very renowned and regularly internationally awarded industrial designer whose product designs have brought Hubl's customer Sartorius extraordinary sales success with the Synus food scale. Sales Manager Andrè Marzinowski from Sartorius reports that customers were really impressed by the scales after initially looking in astonishment at the unusual sheet metal design.

Another product that was the result of joint development work between the customer, Hubl Blechtechnik and the industrial designer is the fully automatic tool machining centre. In addition to high-end technologies for CNC-controlled tool grinding and fast grinding wheel changing, the system impresses with its extraordinary design.

Realising this was part of the overall concept right from the start. For this purpose, a renowned industrial designer was commissioned. The design was implemented by the Hubl Blechtechnik team, which specialises in stainless steel sheet metal processing and is known for its unusual machine cladding.

During planning and consultation together with the industrial designer, the customer's wishes and specifications are first sketched and, if necessary, converted into photo-realistic representations. After approval of these designs, the actual implementation begins in the construction department of Hubl GmbH. This is also how a mother-child companion bed for use in hospitals was jointly designed.
